Guard Your Health - Your Life Obviously Depends on It

It is one of the mysteries of life that many humans have hugged the cross of being repugnant to making healthy decisions. It's almost like they hiss at advice that tries to help them keep their health in check. Some only get to hear the wake up call albeit lately, giving flesh to the proverbial: crying when the head is off. Well, that's a little bit of a hyperbole. Lol. Let's just say, ermm, reporting for a morning shift at 10 pm. I hope you get the point and my drifting around hasn't gotten you dizzy.

"Health is wealth," that statement has become so threadbare you'd be affirmative that everyone in town has worn that shirt already. Sadly not. Of course there are many other people in various other categories: those who watch their health moderately and those who do with  magnifying glasses. This article however is to draw to the attention of not taking good care of health.

Misconceptions, ignorant stances, utter disregard and blind faith come as some of the many hiccups that cause for an explosion of the powder keg of poor health decisions. Blind faith included because faith is no blind fellow walking down some dark path hoping for someone to take pity while leading them on;  faith is knowledge, vision and taking the wheels of responsibility.

Your body is your house. We know that it would wear and tear eventually, leading to the need for constant cleaning and refurbishing how and when we can. Although by some stroke of grace, some like to say luck, the impossible usually happens and not everyone gets to pay for their poor habits. But folks need to get the point that it is no rule for all. What is good for the goose is not always good for the gander. Wisdom would instruct to do the best you can and hope for a beaming future.

For those who seem on the slow roller of catching on to the pace of we (as a world)  being in the information age, they maybe wouldn't have read this far, would have gotten annoyed at why this piece to them is unnervingly long or they would ignore many of the richly blessing articles on dos and don'ts promoting the cause of good health. Please jump off that bus or help someone get off if you/they are on that road. Many of the injuries in the world today are unnecessarily self inflicted.

It's an irony to fall into a mess and pay a professional to surf the net, read an article or use some of the knowledge they have which you as a person could have gotten only that you are/were too lazy to. Many of these advises are everywhere; in the papers magazines, on the net, on television, in movies, documentaries, etc. All it takes is just to lift the lid off your eyes.

Yes there is a place for professionals, but they shouldn't take all the space of our God given sense. They actually do not know everything, we must remember that. What they do sometimes could simply be taking wild stabs.

It is imperative to get the information we can on certain issues leaving more of a challenge on our medical personel to spend more of their time coming up with solutions to more tasking problems.

In essence, read, grab information in whatever way you can and don't be illogically resistant to health tips that are useful to you. You can do so much more with a longer  and healthier life. Well, that is stating the obvious, don't you think?
